Description

Product Description From Disney Channel's hit comedy THAT'S SO RAVEN comes its hilarious spin-off series CORY IN THE HOUSE -- on DVD for the first time ever! Laugh out loud at Cory's madcap adventures in four of your favorite episodes -- plus, the ALL-STAR EDITION DVD includes exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with the star and celebrity guests Raven and The Rock ("Never The Dwayne Shall Meet")! When Cory's dad gets a job as personal chef to the president of the United States, the Baxter boys move into the White House and take over. It doesn't take long before Cory is cooking up new schemes that get him into outrageously funny situations with the high-powered Washington, D.C., elite. Just when you think things can't get any more mixed up, Cory is sneaking on to Air Force One, making presentations incognito and doing everything he can to impress celebrity houseguests Raven, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and more! Get ready to laugh, it's Cory time! Amazon.com A spin-off of the Disney television series That's So Raven, Cory in the House features Raven's younger brother Cory (Kyle Massey) and her father Victor (Rondell Sheridan) ensconced at the White House where Victor is employed as personal chef to the President (John D'Aquino). Ever the business entrepreneur, Cory is consistently hatching new money-making schemes without regard to the decorum his residence at the White House demands. This four-episode compilation begins with "Never the Dwayne Shall Meet" in which former WWE wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is scheduled to meet with the President. Cory has great business plans to capitalize on The Rock's visit and secure his sponsorship of Cory's newest fitness invention, but Cory and his friends Newt and Meena bungle their presentation plan and end up preventing the President, his aide Samantha Samuels, Victor, and themselves from even seeing The Rock. Instead, it falls to the President's young daughter Sophie to smooth things over with The Rock in the unlikely setting of a tea party. Raven (Raven Symone) comes for a visit in "That's So in the House" and has big plans to redesign the White House tour guides' uniforms, but gets into trouble when one of her famous visions induces her to tackle the President. As her business partner, it falls to Cory to secure the commission for his sister, no matter what the personal cost. "Air Force One Too Many" finds the Prime Minister of Russia and the President in disagreement about the ownership of Alaska thanks to Cory's impulsiveness. Can Cory, with a little help from Sophie and a game called "Step, Step, Party Step" set things right between the two nations? Star Trek's George Takei guest stars in this episode. Finally, Cory's entrepreneurial dreams, combined with his appetite for sweets, results in quite an explosion in "Just Desserts." An appealing sit-com aimed at the tween set, Cory in the House has a nice blend of humor, absurdity, and good clean fun without the overabundance of attitude found in many tween programs. --Tami Horiuchi

I never thought of myself as an anime person, and I wasn't sure where to jump into the genre. I looked at forums, YT videos from experts in the field, and asked friends all around. And I couldn't really find an anime series that I really liked. Then, as my Amazon Prime membership was about to expire and I really wanted to make one final purchase, I found this small underrated masterpiece. I can now see why Corey in The House has set such a precedence for anime that came after. The English dub is so good it seems like it's synced up to the characters exactly! I honestly can't believe that such a masterpiece was only $5. With 4 whole episodes of the raddest character animation has ever seen, it's more than worth buying. I'm probably going to buy another copy just so I can sell it when i'm old for hundreds of dollars, as animes like this come once in a lifetime.
