This is a decent dark roast. I didn’t find it to be well suited to espresso – it’s a little too rough and gets too burnt tasting when brewed in that manner. It was better in a moka pot since that smooths out the edges better. I found it best in an Aeropress. The flavor comes through and the roughness is far less pronounced.It’s decent, but just a bit too darkly roasted to get 5 stars. While it doesn't cross the line into burnt territory, it’s a bit too close for my comfort.
