One of the better series I've read. It's written well and keeps you engaged wanting to know what happens next.Normally I'm not big on naive lead females, but there is something really endearing about this lead character. Yes, she makes dumb decisions that don't make sense for someone 45 years old like me, but without her lack of common sense at times the story would have been dull, I guess. This is a REALLY slow burn. Like she has lackluster 2 minute sex for her first time in the first book and then there's not much else until the end of the second book. That's fine with me, she's inexperienced and childish in that area and needs time to mature and grow imo. I enjoyed the main love story overall. Probably my favorite part was how likeable her friends were. Pheebs is a friend I think that we all wish we had and deserve. I read the entire series and will definitely read it again in a couple of years (when it's like reading it for the first time for me). I highly recommend for folks who like a good supernatural fiction with a sprinkle of romance. Even though I've never been anything like the lead female, she is easy enough to relate to.
