Historical crime fiction set in Australia is not very common and this book is a good example of the genre in my opinion. It focuses on the nurses sent to work at Sydney Hospital in the 1860s by Florence Nightingale. It is well researched and contains fascinating information about the period. I found the characters appealing as well. If you like detailed historical mysteries this is a good choice.
