The Very Best of Crowded House - Greatest Hits Album | Perfect for Road Trips, Parties & Relaxing at Home

Like many people, I've heard the band name "Crowded House" since the late '80s, but I never actually heard them until a few weeks ago when Harry Sheerer played the 1992 song "Weather with You" on his podcast. I'm old and have been listening to everything I could get my hands on (forget about genre) for the past sixty-five years, but I missed these guys! But enough about me.I don't know quite how to describe the sound. At times maybe Beatlesque, their music is at once unique and universal. Their songs generally sound familiar even though I know I never heard them. Great harmonies and arrangements. And, honestly, for the past few I've been listening to a lot of music from New Zealand and Australia years because of the soundtrack music from "Brokenwood Mysteries."If you like interesting pop music, check out Crowded House. I'm pretty happy I discovered this band after all these years.
