I think most of what I have to say has already been said. This a very well recorded and mixed collaboration of one of, if not the master blues harp players and vocalists with a great mix of younger blues guitarists. His cover of Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason," accompanied by one the best modern slide players (Sonny Landreth), is worth the price pf the album, and with that being the case, when you include all the other great songs, that brings it's worth to well over a $100, so what a steal! When I first heard the above song on KPIG, I knew I had to have the album and purchased it via Amazon right after it's release. I was very glad to see it released as an SACD Hybrid and it does not disappoint. Unlike so many multichannel releases recently, the producers use the additional tracks to imbue a feeling of actually being in the room with these artists, rather than showing off the separateness like the early stereo records... IMHO, a great multichannel mix is one where you don't realize you've been listing to multiple channels until after the fact. That's certainly true of this masterpiece.
