It does have some nice piecesOur son had been wanting this Lego set for the longest time and so this year we got it for him and he was super-excited! He has some kind of Lego every year for the holidays but this one kept him busy for several days (rather than a few hours with the smaller sets). The finished product is remarkably accurate and really does look exactly like the Sydney Opera House (I have visited it recently so I remember a lot of the detail). A great Lego set and will be sure to make Lego fans very happy indeed!I gave this to y daughterLots of funIt's big... lot of time work and some impressive lego engineering to create this... kind of boring to look at once complete though... very dull color combinations which lets it down a little.Difficult but rewardingThis is a well-made kit. The pieces fit together well and the instructions are good. The only problem I have with it is that it's too easy. I could finish it in a few days if I really wanted to so I'm taking it slow. So far I have not found any pieces missing. I am impressed with Lego.You might be stunned to know this, but a nine year old built the Sydney Opera House. It took me seven days to build, but not seven WHOLE days. I liked how the stairs had a stud left out from under them for some design. I liked building it because it was a challenge, and I liked the size of it.It was always going to be a great buy. Great fun for the whole family, with great instructions. Very technical, but if you take your time, the build is highly enjoyable. Perfect for when you have time on your hands and if you enjoy complex buildingsWanted this model for a long time not disappointed. Only down side was not to have been able to have bought it when it first came out as a lot cheaper.Great kit, almost 3000 pieces, and a fun (and big!) build. But a rip-off price since I got it just a couple of months after Lego discontinued the kit.Della qualità della precisione e dei dettagli dei prodotti Lego ormai non si discute più specialmente dopo aver costruito questo splendido set.Ma per la serie anche i migliori sbagliano in questo set ho ritrovato due errori non da Lego ed ecco il perché delle 4 StelleNelle buste col N° 1 vi erano i pezzi numericamente giusti ma alcuni sbagliati, la fortuna ha voluto che nell'insieme del montaggio non si notasse nulla.Nelle Buste con N° 3 invece mancava fisicamente un pezzo. ho potuto rimediare grazie a tutte le volte che di pezzi ne mette in più per sicurezza che non manchino durante il montaggio.La sua costruzione nonostante questi due inconvenienti è stata comunque spettacolare e non vedo l'ora di cominciare il prossimo SET...Prodotto davvero ottimo, la scatola, che era in perfetto stato, conteneva tutti i pezzi perfettamente divisi e impacchettati insieme ad i libretti d'istruzioni; il risultato finale del montaggio è stato una riproduzione fedele di notevole dimensioni; rispecchiava esattamente quanto riportato nella descrizione fornita. I tempi di consegna sono stati davvero rapidi.
