I was given the "mid-century modern" dollhouse from this book from my in-laws for Christmas. I was so taken with the book (which belonged to my mother-in-law) that I decided to order my own. It's a classic book with six types of unique dollhouses (gypsy caravan, Swiss chalet, Hacienda, etc). It contains not only plans for the structures, but also furniture and built-in's for the inside. I can't wait to start on my house with my 12 year old, this will be a project we will have to work on together for a long time to come.
