I am a retired professional (classical) musician, but also have a love of jazz, bluegrass, and good song writing. This album combined all of those elements in a way that really defined Bruce Hornsby's style for me. Particular highlights were: White Wheeled Limousine, Hot House Ball, Cruise Control (featuring Jerry Garcia's last live recorded performance anywhere, since he died a short time after the recording was made), and my personal favorite, Changes. It isn't just the music, it's the "in your face" attitude by Bruce and the band that make this a must hear.I owned a cassette of this album some years ago when it first came out and literally wore it out listening to this music. The CD I bought was even more enjoyable because of the improved sound over the cassette. Some of the best money that I have ever spent.
