I have read this book so many times to young students, my young & adult special education students. It's so fun. So adorable. I am buying it alto put in with a baby gift.This is a great book!! The illustrations are wonderfully detailed and give the reader a lot of things to discuss with the listener."The Napping House" first came into our house when my children were young! Now, I've another generation to share it with and I couldn't be happier! The pictures, the colors and the rhymes make it a must for anyone who loves a snuggle up time with a special child!The text, the illustrations combine to make a very fun bedtime story. It was a favorite of my library storytime parents and kiddos. I hope it never goes out of print.This was a favorite of my grands. Bought this one and others for a gift for a new elementary school teacher.My kids love the bookI gave this as a gift to a toddler. The colors in the story are beautiful. This is a book for every every child's collection.Our home loves this so much we named our cottage The Napping House. Read the words or just linger over the rich illustrations. Timeless and amusing.It's a good story but I didn't really take in that it was a large book! Much too big to hold comfortably and read to one child; it's fine for a teacher to read to a class.Repetitive text and memorable illustrations. A favorite bedtime read!Not wha I was expecting. I don't really enjoy reading it to my child. Quite borring.Great story for little ones. Everyone ends up sleeping on top of eachother but then one they each wake eachother up through fright, typical of a household of people!Highly amusing for a toddler, though I feel the illustrations could have been a little colourful!
