Well what can I say? House has been around since Paradise Garage in the late 70’s, but that was New York. Where it REALLY took off was Chicago. And has spread its 4/4 tempo from Tokyo to Moscow. This 2 cd set isn’t anything but just pure House music. It’s not DJ mixed like other CDs from your favorite DJs you spend good money to see at a festival or gathering. It’s just 22 House tracks at the time this came out. Perhaps a bit dated the older this gets, but usually whatever record a DJ spins is quickly recognized as a classic the more the crowd reacts to the track. So you can’t go wrong with this purchase, if you just love House music. So turn this on when you’re about to go out for a night of dancing, or if you just want to experience the music without spending a ton of money on drinks and cab rides.
