As a kid and a teen, I used to take a poetry book out of the library over and over again. It had many seasonal poems, some of which I typed out of the book, excluding, of course, the authors and most importantly - the title of the book. I have found some of them online and have been able to identify the authors. My mission for the last couple of years has been to try to find that book. No luck yet, but then I came upon this book at the library. It is the closest thing to the one I used to read in the 60's and it has some of the same poems. It's tiny and sweet and has one of those church thingies-those prayer book string markers. It doesn't get much better than that for me. I am almost in heaven!
