After reading, my next greatest passion is woolcraft, whether it be knitting or crocheting, so I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase this jigsaw (my third passion!), when it was donated into the charity shop.There is always an inherent risk when purchasing a second hand jigsaw, that there may be the odd missing piece or two and whilst this would be very frustrating and more than a little annoying, so far I have been extremely lucky. Although to be fair, I always tend to judge whether the jigsaw has been well loved and taken care of by its previous puzzler family!The puzzle piece selection is varied, with some traditional shaped interlocking pieces, interspersed with several random shaped interlocking pieces and made all the more difficult and intricate, by the many pieces which have no interlocking at all and simply slide into place, being held intact by their neighbouring pieces and shapesBeware! Some internal pieces also have straight edges, just to confuse you even more, which means that it is almost impossible to complete the entire outside edge of the jigsaw, in the traditional way.The overall finished effect of the jigsaw, is a vibrant and colour rich scene, with the added interest of several scaled characters, all intimately detailed and full of personality, almost as though I was looking through the shop window at the gathering inside.Full review and detailed informationhttp://www.fiction-books.biz/category/my-latest-news-and-musings/
