5 Against the House is a movie about four army buddies who decide to rob a casino in Reno. Kim Novak plays the girl, the fifth person of the movie, who falls in love with one of the four played by Guy Madison who is against the plan.Brian Keith (Hardcastle and McCormack) Kerwin Matthews and Ally Moore (Green Acres) play the other friends.William Conrad plays one of the casino workers who was a very busy actor and did a lot a voice-overs on TV series over the years. His is the voice you hear on the opening credits to "THE FUGITIVE" TV series as well as "BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY". He would become famous for playing Frank Cannon on the TV series "CANNON" in the 1970's as well as being the fatman of the title in JACK AND THE FATMAN".This is a really good film noir filmed as you would expect in black and white.Bonus material is the films theatrical trailer.
